How To Get Ahead In Advertising

In the wake of Enron, Worldcom et al. and the renewed idea that corporate financial reporting should actually be truthful, Marc Kasky has sued Nike for false advertising (really! I was amazed it was apparently against the law too):

While Nike was conducting a huge and expensive PR blitz to tell people that it had cleaned up its subcontractors' sweatshop labor practices, an alert consumer advocate and activist in California named Marc Kasky caught them in what he alleges are a number of specific deceptions. Citing a California law that forbids corporations from intentionally deceiving people in their commercial statements, Kasky sued the multi-billion-dollar corporation.

Instead of refuting Kasky's charge by proving in court that they didn't lie, however, Nike instead chose to argue that corporations should enjoy the same "free speech" right to deceive that individual human citizens have in their personal lives. If people have the constitutionally protected right to say, "The check is in the mail," or, "That looks great on you," then, Nike's reasoning goes, a corporation should have the same right to say whatever they want in their corporate PR campaigns.

Hi. I know this may seem really silly to you but I have got an idea for a new advert for Nike and was wondering if you might here me out. well basically you know at the moment all the freestyle is in for Nike when adversting well i thought maybe you might be able to use a differnet approach in order to attract more attention to Nike. At the moment as it is Nike is doing really well with is advertsing techniques well i thoguht may be you could here my idead out. I know it probably seems silly to but but i am a Maketing student and a university in England and am hoping to one day go into advertising myself.
Basically my idea is that perhaps instead of using freestyle music you could now perhaps use like old classical jazz music, a type that is likely to make even the old genertaion remeber the music like chariots of fire and then perhaps like have a famous footballer or smething having do all the farious foot movement to the music so it is all cordinated if you see wot i mean. And to finish the advert off you have the a clear picture of the footballer kicking the football so it looks they are kicking it towards the camera and in your face with the words reading "JUST DO IT".
Could you please let me know what you think of my idea. I know it probably seems silly beciase I am only 19years old but I would really appreciate your feedback.
Thank you for your time.
