M.U.S.I.C.

So, musicunited have taken out full page ads in the New York Times and other publications to protest about illegal downloading.

This neatly illustrates how irrelevant the RIAA et al. are to me - of the five columns of artists listed who have signed up to this, I wouldn't listen to any of them if you paid me, let alone bother to download their music. I don't care about them.

But having finally woken up a little to how the system works, it's time to get a little more active. And more active than whining in a blog. But but isn't incitement to breaking the law illegal?

A word of advice, though - if you're going to get artists to speak out against this issue - please find some articulate ones - here's Britney:

"People going into the computers and logging on and stealing our music"

Pardon?
